Braided Show Leads

I love being creative. Any time I have the chance to be artistic, I jump at it. So when I learned that I could braid satin cord into beautiful show leads, I started to make myself some. It started as a way to give my wallet a break from the leather show lead addiction I had going. Then I made some for my friends, and before I knew it, I had other people asking me how much they were.

So here we are.

 

Available leads will be posted in the Dakoozi Etsy Shop and other available stock can be seen and purchased in person at Oxford Dog Sports in Bright, Ontario (approximately 35 minutes North-West of Brantford).

Braided satin is a wonderful, strong, alternative to leather with significantly less stretch. I have been showing my bassets on them, who are horrible pullers, and they have stood up to the abuse much better than even my highest quality leather ones have.

Leads can be made in a multitude of colours and colour combinations (up to 6). I take custom orders for leads with, or without beads, in any length you need, and finished the way you want (thumb loop vs handle, loop end vs clasp, all-in-one slip lead, Resco, etc).

 

Average turnaround (at this time) is 1-2 weeks, and leads can be picked up locally within Niagara or the Brantford area, or shipped free within Canada.
