Dallas' story is as unique as he is. He is our star boy who got the wheels turning and made Dakoozi a reality. Without his appearance in our lives, it is highly probable that we would still be enjoying bassets as nothing more than family pets. He opened a whole new world to us, and we will forever be grateful for his beauty, drive and determination to excel in all things.

With recent changes to Canada's dog import laws, bringing in a boy of our own from the Russian Pridebass line was no longer an option. We had an arranged breeding with one of our girls and a previously imported male owned by Pennieslogon Bassets (who is absolutely stunning!) But when one of his recently sired pups came back due to family health issues, and knowing how much we love the line, Penny knew EXACTLY where he should go!

Our very first bred-by champion, Ace embodies everything great from both of his parents! From his big, typey head, to his fantastic angulation and fluid movement, we are extremely excited for Ace's future. Already a multiple Puppy Group winner, Ace earned 8/10 of his Championship points his first weekend out, and completed his title the following weekend. He's been turning heads and piquing interest everywhere he goes. Of course, it doesn't hurt that his temperament is that of a giant marshmallow. People just can't help but love him, and he eagerly soaks up every squeeze and kiss!
