Guelph Wrap-Up

It was a fun, exciting and wonderful weekend at the Guelph & District Kennel club shows this past weekend! What an entry we had, with NINE (9) bassets on the biggest day! We got to see friends we haven't seen in awhile, as well as welcome some new exhibitors to our family (and country!)

We entered Skyy and Pepper, hoping one or both would finish their current titles.

Skyy found herself in a stacked lineup of beautiful open class girls who shared the wins all weekend. She was able to secure a 2pt win, putting her at 7/10 required championship points.

Pepper rocked the weekend with Best of Opposite and Select awards, earning all 9 of her required points for her Grand Championship title!! We couldn't be happier to see this girl excel in the ring with her bestie (and my daughter), Genesee. The two looked perfect together and celebrated with a big hug on the way home.

Memphis came out to play with dad (Eddie) on Saturday and Sunday, and showed us that, while he's a little rusty and just wants to play, he still has what it takes to impress the judges.

It made my heart so happy to see all of our friends leave with some ribbons and points, as the lineup was full of wonderful, quality hounds who all deserved their shot & time in the spotlight.

Now we work on recovering before the next show.
