Happy Birthday Dallas!

From a 10-day preemie to a 5 year old stunner, I can't believe we are already celebrating Dallas's FIFTH BIRTHDAY!!

My special Goober, Mr Dallas himself, is a whole FIVE YEARS OLD today. Please, someone slow the clock down, because I'm not ready for this big Smoosh to start getting old on me!

Happy birthday to my Dally, Dal-Dal, Dally-Doo-Doo, Monkey, Mr Goober, Squishmallow, Turkey Butt!  

This boy is the shining star in my heart, and I consider myself incredibly blessed to have been chosen to be his guardian for his life on this earth. His start was incredibly shaky and unsure. Most know that we weren't expecting his survival at all. But he has surpassed all expectations in everything he has ever done.

I am also saddened that we are already looking at 5 years. How has so much time already passed?? I see the grey in my Monkey's face already, and it's a stark reminder that their lives with us are so incredibly short.

I could not imagine where my life would be today without him in it. He has changed my path in the most extreme way, and I owe so much to his existence.

I love you to the moon and back my special baby boy, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
