Erie Shores Wrap-Up

This year didn't see as large of a breed entry as we anticipated at Erie Shores, but it was enough to generate some points for a few dogs.

Izzy's sister, Fae, came all the way from Britt, Ontario to compete in her very first show. We are SO proud of her, as she took to the ring like she knew what she was doing and secured a Best of Opposite win for her first 2 points! Fae will show sparingly, as distance and time allows, and will hopefully be able to finish her Championship title with us.

But the most exciting part of the weekend was for our very own Charlotte. Needing only 3 points to finish her Canadian Grand Championship, we brought her out for 2 days and with Best of Opposite and Select wins, she was able to secure those final points! We are SO proud to introduce GCH* Shay's Country Friends in Low Places NS UKC CA.

Charlotte is now retired from the show ring, as it was never something she was passionate about, but she will continue to gain titles in the various sports she loves. Perhaps, as well, with a few more Champion babies in her lifetime, she will be able to add an ROM prefix to her name. (Record of Merit - awarded to females who produce at least 6 Canadian Show Champions).

We can't wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store for our crew!
