Puppies are here!

On January 9th, Charlotte's temperature had a slight drop, so we started puppy watch. On the 10th, around 12:15pm, she started contractions and had her first puppy at 1pm. She laboured like a champ, and is a complete natural at motherhood. She took 3 hours and 25 minutes to deliver all of her puppies.

We have a total of 5 healthy girls and 2 healthy boys. An 8th pup, an angel boy, was unfortunately stillborn and could not be revived. While we are sad to lose that beautiful boy, we are thrilled to be blessed with 7 colourful new basset babies!
